Role overview

G4S is hiring an RSOC Officer to join a regional security operations centre in Singapore. The position sits within a 24/7 command environment and acts as the first point of response for incidents, threats, and urgent situations affecting APAC locations.

Shift arrangement

This role follows a 5-day rotating shift pattern with the following working hours:

• 0700 to 1500
• 1500 to 2300
• 2300 to 0700

What the role involves

• Keeping watch over security platforms such as CCTV, alarm systems, and access control tools across the region
• Assessing live threats and maintaining situational awareness
• Handling incident response and escalating issues for regional sites when required
• Working closely with on-site personnel and emergency responders
• Recording incidents accurately and maintaining clear operational logs
• Remaining alert, composed, and professional in a demanding, high-pressure setting

Requirements

• Valid PLRD licence at SSO level or higher, with an SSM certificate
• At least 2 years of experience in an RSOC Operator position
• Strong verbal communication and sound judgment when making decisions
• Comfort with rotating shifts and round-the-clock operations
• Working knowledge of SOC functions, emergency procedures, and crisis handling
• Basic IT ability, including networking concepts and Microsoft Office Suite
• Reliable, disciplined, punctual, and aware of surroundings
• Must be open to background screening and recertification requirements
