Roll-Off Driver

About the Role

Cascades is looking for a Roll-Off Driver to join its Brantford team. In this role, you will handle the movement of recycled materials and support plant operations in a workplace that places strong emphasis on health and safety.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay rate: $32.03 per hour
• Full-time employment with guaranteed hours
• Shift timing: 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Work can extend to a maximum of 12 hours per shift depending on operational needs
• The weekly schedule may change as required

Key Responsibilities

• Collect skidded material and switch out rolling containers containing paper and other recyclable materials
• Check with customers before replacing full bins with empty ones at client locations
• Secure loaded trailers properly before transporting them to the plant for unloading and reloading, following dispatch instructions
• Carry out shunting of trailers for loading and unloading when needed

Requirements

• Valid DZ driver’s licence is mandatory
• At least 2 years of roll-off driving experience
• Experience driving manual transmission is an advantage, though not compulsory
• A clean driver abstract and CVOR are required
• Comfort working outdoors in different weather and site conditions
