Retail Sales Associate

About the role

This position is with a global sportswear brand in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The store team is expected to reflect the brand’s values of drive, energy, teamwork, and individuality while delivering a strong retail experience to every customer.

The role is part-time and site-based. The company welcomes applicants of all genders and uses a fair, people-reviewed hiring process. AI-enabled tools may be used only for administrative support, such as sorting applications or scheduling interviews; they do not make hiring decisions.

Key duties

• Deliver a consistently excellent in-store customer experience aligned with brand standards and service expectations.
• Help the store meet or exceed sales, KPI, and profitability goals through effective service and personal performance.
• Handle checkout transactions accurately, efficiently, and securely.
• Keep the shop floor clean, organized, and in line with visual merchandising guidelines.
• Manage the receipt and dispatch of merchandise as required.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, operational standards, and role-specific accountabilities.
• Support a safe, healthy, and compliant environment for both staff and shoppers.
• Be available for non-standard working hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime when needed.

Candidate profile

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a customer-focused retail setting, ideally in apparel or footwear.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Communicates clearly and professionally.
• Learns quickly and adapts to new processes.
• Comfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.

Compensation and benefits

The base pay for this role is between $17.60 and $20.60, plus benefits for part-time employees.
