Regional Manager

About the Role

Smile Doctors is looking for a Regional Manager based in Hartford, Connecticut. This position supports a group of practice locations by helping them run smoothly, deliver excellent patient and team member experiences, and improve both growth and profitability. The role also helps roll out new initiatives across the region and serves as a key point of contact for patients, the community, doctors, and team members.

What You’ll Do

• Develop strong, positive partnerships with doctors across the region.
• Guide, coach, and support team members at practice locations.
• Act as a cultural leader and help monitor team morale throughout the region.
• Oversee practice performance and day-to-day operations using daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly metrics.
• Track staffing needs and manage headcount effectively at each location.
• Contribute strategic ideas to leadership and help shape regional decisions.
• Help ensure every patient receives an excellent experience at each practice.
• Support the onboarding and integration of new affiliations.
• Drive adoption of new processes and initiatives by adapting them to each location’s operational realities.
• Review schedules and support doctor coverage planning.
• Visit every practice location at least once per quarter and hold weekly discussions with local leadership.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a multi-unit leadership position.
• Background in orthodontics, dental, or healthcare is preferred, but not mandatory.
