Compensation

The assignment pays between $40 and $60 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory systems and equipment so they continue to function reliably and at peak performance.
• Create, update, and apply standard procedures for lab operations and safety adherence.
• Work with R&D stakeholders to spot workflow issues and remove operational delays.
• Track lab inventory and equipment needs, ensuring supplies are reordered in time and remain available when required.
• Carry out regular servicing and calibration of instruments to maintain quality benchmarks.

Required background

• Hands-on experience maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment is essential.
• Strong understanding of lab operating procedures and safety requirements is needed.
• Ability to handle lab inventory management and procurement tasks is required.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an R&D environment is necessary.
• Comfort with collecting, recording, and organizing operational data is expected.
