About the internship
Vega Visionary Training FZE is building an AI-driven EdTech platform focused on adaptive learning paths that respond to each learner’s gaps and progress. The internship is for a QA Engineer who will help strengthen product quality across manual, automated, API, performance, security, and release testing as the platform grows.
What you will do
- Create, update, and maintain test cases for new and existing features, covering both manual and automated testing.
- Run a broad set of testing activities, including smoke, functional, integration, regression, exploratory, UI, load, stress, security, and fuzz testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and end-to-end flows so defects are caught before production.
- Record, prioritize, and follow up on bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, and severity or priority labels.
- Review product requirements and design documents early to identify edge cases, unclear logic, and failure points before development is completed.
- Prepare test plans for major releases and decide where coverage should be strongest based on risk.
- Check product behavior across browsers, devices, screen sizes, and network conditions to uncover environment-specific issues.
- Work closely with developers and product managers during sprint planning, daily coordination, and release cycles.
- Carry out API validation where needed, including request/response checks, error handling, and boundary cases.
- Keep an eye on production after releases and support root-cause analysis when issues appear.
- Improve testing practices, tooling, and coverage over time as the product expands.
- Support CI/CD health by maintaining automated checks that run on each build and deployment.

Requirements
