Role overview
Ericsson is hiring a Packet Core Engineer for a walk-in drive scheduled on 5 July 2026 in Noida, India. This role is suited to professionals with at least 3 years of relevant experience in core network operations and troubleshooting.
The position focuses on maintaining configuration, handling trouble tickets, resolving network issues, and ensuring security compliance across core network nodes within Ericsson’s network architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out configuration, upgrades, and updates on SAPC PCRF nodes.
- Track and review trouble tickets, change requests, and audit tasks on a daily basis.
- Follow MSTOP processes consistently in the workplace.
- Ensure password controls, security standards, and periodic audits are properly applied.
- Help improve departmental procedures and operating routines.
- Take part in technical discussions to improve network performance and suggest practical improvements.
- Perform system configuration changes within the scope of assigned access rights.
- Provide second-level support for Packet Core Operations Data Network activities.
- Work as an operations engineer supporting GSM, GPRS, WCDMA, and LTE technologies.
- Support virtual EPC nodes, including MME and EPG, on virtual platforms.
Candidate profile
