An established general contractor is hiring a Project Manager to oversee technical tenant improvement construction work throughout the Greater Bay Area.

This position offers strong visibility into leadership and a potential route to a Project Executive role for someone aiming to grow their construction career.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will take ownership of projects from the planning stage through final delivery, with accountability for schedule, budget, and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Direct construction projects end to end, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality oversight.
Spot project risks early and put backup plans in place to reduce disruption.
Keep projects moving to meet deadlines and stay within approved budgets.
Develop and sustain productive working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related discipline, along with extensive project management experience in general contracting.

The role calls for someone who has managed construction projects from concept through close-out, is comfortable using project management tools, communicates clearly, and can lead teams while balancing several priorities at once.
