Production Operator

Role overview

We are looking for an Operator II / Technician to support manufacturing and assembly activities at HP Office in Singapore. This full-time position is suited to candidates with basic technical know-how, comfort using computers, and the ability to perform in a structured production setting.

Key duties

• Carry out production and assembly work according to the provided instructions.
• Observe SOPs, safety rules, and all relevant process documentation.
• Handle basic fault-finding tasks and carry out minor technical repairs when needed.
• Assist with simple software installation and system updates.
• Track production output and compute yield figures.
• Draft straightforward written and verbal reports.
• Support coordination of small teams when required.
• Maintain accuracy and quality in every assigned task.
• Work with limited supervision and manage tasks independently.
• Adhere to assigned shift rosters and work schedules.

Skills and experience needed

• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing or production work.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Comfortable using computers at a basic level.
• Good English reading, writing, and speaking ability.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and arithmetic.
• Capable of following instructions and SOPs accurately.
• Basic troubleshooting ability.
• Team-oriented with good collaboration skills.
• Flexible for shift-based work.
• Strong attention to detail.

Candidate profile

Applicants should hold an O Level, SPM, ITE, or an equivalent qualification. Fresh graduates are welcome, and candidates with up to 3 years of experience may apply. A background in manufacturing or production is preferred. This role requires willingness to work in shifts and the ability to perform both independently and as part of a team.
