Key duties

• Keep the produce department neat, arranged, and easy for customers to shop.
• Restock items, rotate inventory, and remove products that are expired or past their sell-by date.
• Make sure merchandise has correct signage, pricing, labels, and promotional markings.
• Follow cold chain rules, including thermometer calibration, temperature logging, and safe handling of refrigerated items.
• Use proper food safety, sanitation, and cleaning practices at all times.
• Carry out ordering-related tasks, markdowns, clearance activity, and shelf signage procedures as required.
• Ensure the department is fully stocked and prepared for business.
• Follow health and safety requirements while performing daily duties.
• Load and downstock merchandise when needed, apply product protection where required, and complete modular resets, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Pay

The starting hourly rate for this role is $18.30.

Minimum qualifications

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
