Rose Rayhaan by Rotana in Dubai is seeking a motivated laundry professional to join the team as a Pressing Attendant. The role focuses on delivering guest laundry on schedule while maintaining consistently high quality standards.

Key duties

• Carry out work in line with hotel and laundry department policies and procedures.
• Maintain careful and efficient work habits to achieve strong output and excellent quality, while staying open to improved pressing methods.
• Operate pressing equipment correctly and protect it through proper handling.
• Support the regular cleaning, upkeep, and functioning of pressing machines.
• Sort garments according to the appropriate pressing method.
• Treat all clothing and fabrics with care throughout the process.
• Learn and follow all pressing instructions, and participate in departmental training and meetings to support multitasking.
• Take on any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Education, experience, and competencies

Applicants should have vocational training related to laundry operations and prior experience working as a Pressing Attendant in a high-volume laundry environment. Strong English communication skills and a positive, welcoming attitude are important.

The preferred candidate is service-oriented, approachable, able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting, and comfortable working with a diverse team and guest base. Strong personal qualities include understanding the role, accepting responsibility, respecting individual differences, staying customer focused, adapting quickly, and working effectively as part of a team.
