People Operations Program Manager

About the role

This position supports the leadership team of a national alliance of top commercial HVAC manufacturer-representative firms. The organization brings together specialized local expertise and a nationwide network to deliver design assistance, equipment solutions, commissioning, service, and ongoing support for HVAC and critical infrastructure projects. The People Operations Program Manager will be based in Irving, TX and work in office with some hybrid flexibility.

What you will do

• Review current People Operations workflows, identify gaps, and turn them into clearer, more efficient processes and SOPs.
• Build scalable operating systems that can support growth and keep onboarding and employee lifecycle steps consistent.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives by managing schedules, deliverables, and communication with stakeholders.
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, HRIS, and People Strategy teams to keep efforts aligned.
• Improve team effectiveness by strengthening communication cadence, meeting formats, and visibility into priorities.
• Look for ways to increase efficiency through technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools in People Team operations.
• Assist People leadership with scheduling, meeting preparation, coordination, and other executive-level administrative support.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range is $80,000 to $100,000, with a discretionary bonus of 15%. Year-one on-target earnings are listed at $115,000.
