Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)

Role overview

The Klinikum Bad Salzungen GmbH is looking to hire a payroll specialist as soon as possible for a full-time, on-site position in Bad Salzungen, Thuringia.

Your responsibilities

• Run the monthly payroll for the organization’s different accounting entities in line with the applicable provisions of the TVöD-K public service collective agreement.
• Maintain employee master data, absence records, and variable payroll information in the LOGA payroll system.
• Calculate and process pay for duty assignments, sickness-related pay, and vacation settlement payments.
• Handle wage assignments and garnishments.
• Determine social insurance coverage requirements.
• Process pension-related matters.
• Manage reporting and certification requirements.
• Monitor working time accounts and staff schedules in the ATOSS scheduling system.
• Support year-end closing work, including the calculation of personnel-related provisions.
• Act as a point of contact for employees with questions about payroll and salary statements.

What you should bring

• Completed commercial training or qualification.
• Solid experience in payroll and compensation administration, along with knowledge of TVöD labor law.
• Confident use of workplace software, especially MS Excel; experience with LOGA by P&I and ATOSS is preferred.
• Professional, approachable manner when dealing with the public and authorities.
• Reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Independent, target-oriented work style with strong organizational skills.
• Assertiveness, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility.
