Role overview

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) for an established service provider focused on payroll processing and HR services for medium-sized businesses. The position offers a varied day-to-day workload in a modern, collaborative setting with a high level of ownership and direct contact with clients.

Key responsibilities

Independently manage a defined portfolio of clients or accounts.
Handle monthly payroll processing from start to finish, including all preparatory and follow-up tasks.
Serve as the contact person for customers, health insurance providers, and public authorities.
Work with HR teams on payroll-related matters.
Prepare reports, analyses, and lists.
Ensure payroll runs are completed on time and to a high quality standard.

Profile required

Professional experience in payroll accounting.
Confident use of MS Office.
Organized, careful, and independent way of working.
Strong service mindset and good communication skills.
Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
Experience with common payroll systems is an advantage.
