About the Employer
Mulgowie Farming Company is a major horticultural business in Australia, known for growing, packing, and marketing fresh produce for both local and export customers. The company is looking for reliable and experienced industrial cleaners to help uphold strong hygiene standards in its food processing facility.
Role Overview
This position is based in Mulgowie and reports to the Cleaning Supervisor. You will clean the food production line inside the packing shed, with the usual start time being 7:00 pm.
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to applicants currently in Australia who hold valid work rights.
Key Duties
The role involves following cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and the site’s cleaning workflows to keep the facility compliant with GMP standards. You may also need to step up and guide the team when the Cleaning Supervisor is unavailable.
Requirements and Experience
The ideal candidate should bring prior industrial cleaning experience in a food manufacturing environment, along with hands-on experience in chemical handling. Strong communication, teamwork, organisation, and attention to detail are important for success in this role.
Working Pattern
This is an afternoon shift role, generally beginning at 7:00 pm, and may require work across a seven-day roster depending on seasonal needs.
Additional Notes
A current Chem Cert is considered an advantage.
