The role sits at the crossroads of procurement, inbound logistics, fulfillment, and dispatch, with a focus on uncovering blockers, improving workflows, and creating the data visibility needed for smarter daily decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Track the full order cycle from sourcing through first-mile logistics, fulfillment, and last-mile delivery, and pinpoint where time and execution are being lost.
  • Study operational constraints across procurement, inbound movement, warehouse throughput, and dispatch readiness, then help drive corrective actions.
  • Monitor supplier performance, process delays, and recurring exceptions to improve reliability, response speed, and execution quality.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts that increase visibility and enable quicker operational decisions.
  • Contribute to process improvement work by measuring current performance, identifying gaps, and reviewing results after changes are rolled out.
  • Convert operational information into clear findings and practical recommendations for procurement, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to improve execution discipline and support continuous improvement across the business.
  • Follow core operational KPIs such as order cycle time, on-time fulfillment rate, inbound lead time, and supplier fill rate, and surface weak areas and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications and experience

The role is suited to professionals with a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a closely related field, or those with equivalent hands-on experience. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in supply chain, operations, procurement, analytics, or a similar function within a startup, marketplace, retail, distribution, or logistics-led business.
