You would be joining a nationwide financial planning and wealth management business with an office in Chester city centre, England.
Role summary
This is a full-time office-based position supporting a senior administrator and a team of five financial advisers. The work is varied and can become busy, so the role suits someone who enjoys keeping multiple tasks organised and moving.
Key duties
- Prepare client letters and other written communication.
- Complete and submit applications related to financial checks.
- Compile information and paperwork ahead of client meetings.
- Produce reports for advisers when required.
- Provide reception support, including welcoming clients and handling light hospitality tasks.
- Carry out day-to-day administration such as scanning, filing and archiving.
- Manage incoming telephone calls and maintain inboxes.
What you will need
You should be a confident administrator who can balance competing priorities without losing track of detail. Strong written English and communication skills are important, as the job involves client-facing correspondence. A sharp eye for accuracy is essential, especially when checking documents before they are sent out. Comfortable use of Microsoft Office is expected, and experience with Intelligent Office would be helpful but is not required. Background knowledge of financial services would be an advantage, but it is not mandatory.
Hours and working pattern
The role is advertised on a 35-hour full-time basis. A small reduction to 28 days may be considered, provided the hours are covered across at least four days each week.
Additional information
The position is permanent and based in Chester city centre. There is no parking at the office, although the location is well served by public transport. An immediate start may be available.
