Role Overview

The company is looking for a hands-on and forward-thinking Network Administrator who can keep the network environment dependable, secure, and well-performing. The role focuses on day-to-day network upkeep, resolving connectivity problems, and improving overall infrastructure efficiency. The right person should be confident working with network protocols, hardware, and software, and should be able to diagnose and fix technical issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and support local area networks, wide area networks, VOIP data traffic, enterprise inter-networking, and related communication systems.
• Maintain network administration standards and carry out ongoing upkeep of network systems.
• Help identify faults and resolve issues across different applications and systems.
• Evaluate and choose suitable LAN layouts and operating systems for network environments.
• Contribute to long-term network planning, implementation work, and specialized studies aimed at improving performance and security.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification gained through relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• CCNA certification is preferred.
• Experience with Palo Alto technologies is preferred.
• Network+ certification is preferred.
• A valid passport and a current driver’s license are required.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position in Kilcoole, County Wicklow, Ireland.
