MEP Estimator - Data Centres

Role overview

This opportunity is with a major data centre contractor in Germany, looking for an experienced MEP Estimator to strengthen its pre-construction function. The position supports major design-and-build schemes valued between €200 million and €500 million and works closely with the Pre-Construction Director from tender review through to project handover.

Key responsibilities

You will take full responsibility for MEP estimating and tender preparation across the full bid cycle. The role includes reviewing tender documentation, issuing and managing subcontractor enquiries, carrying out value engineering studies, maintaining the risk register, and contributing to tender settlement presentations for senior stakeholders. In addition, you will help shape design development and assist in mentoring junior estimators within the team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring solid MEP estimating experience gained within a main contractor or specialist contractor setting. You should be confident interpreting MEP drawings and specifications, assessing subcontractor quotations, and handling substantial volumes of technical and commercial data while working to strict tender deadlines. Experience on data centre or mission critical projects would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with CostX is preferred.

Location and eligibility

The role is based in Germany and is open to candidates already located there as well as those with strong intentions to relocate.
