Role overview

Proforma Health is looking for a Medical Scribe to work alongside primary care clinicians in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will capture patient visits in real time and help keep clinical records accurate, complete, and up to date.

What you’ll do

You will document patient encounters as they happen, including the history, assessment, care plan, and physical examination details. The role also involves helping improve clinical documentation, supporting ICD-10 and CPT coding efforts, reviewing charts to identify gaps in care, and completing administrative follow-up such as ordering items and placing referrals. You will also contribute to smooth team operations by supporting day-to-day workflow needs.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of medical terminology, communicates clearly, and is comfortable using computers and adapting quickly in a fast-paced setting. Strong typing speed is preferred, as is the ability to speak additional languages. Dependability, teamwork, and a patient-focused mindset are important for success in this role.
