Role Overview
The General Assembly Helper supports the assembly function with routine day-to-day shop floor tasks. Typical work includes sorting and preparing materials, getting components ready for assembly, keeping the workspace tidy, and assisting mechanical and electrical assemblers whenever support is required. This role calls for prior exposure to an industrial setting, along with a dependable attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow directions and safety procedures. A cooperative mindset and a positive approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production targets and scheduled output requirements.
- Help deliver accurate assemblies that contribute to strong product yield.
- Work in line with AS9100 quality standards.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and lean production environment.
- Partner with production and quality teams to help identify and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an industrial environment is required.
