Maintenance Junior Technician

Role overview

This position is designed to support oilfield maintenance and ESP startup activities through practical, on-the-job assistance. The role focuses on monitoring, basic fault-finding, and reporting while working in line with the company’s standards, the client’s contract requirements, and QHSE expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Help with wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, VSDs, and control panels.
• Read simple electrical schematics and diagrams to support field tasks.
• Assist with installing electrical parts such as motors, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Carry out routine checks and preventive maintenance work.
• Operate hand tools and basic electrical test equipment, including multimeters.
• Keep work areas and tools tidy, safe, and well organized.
• Work according to safety procedures and company rules at all times.
• Record completed work and escalate any issues to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with other technicians and internal teams as needed.

Qualifications and experience

A Diploma in Electrical Technology or Mechanical Technology is mandatory. Candidates should have 0 to 1 year of maintenance experience. Strong reporting and documentation ability is also required.
