Responsibilities

Support the upkeep of the nursing center and surrounding grounds so they remain clean, safe, orderly, and presentable.
Handle small repair work on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lights, fire alarms, and extinguishers.
Replace filters in HVAC systems.
Carry, lift, and stock supplies as needed.
Step into the maintenance supervisor’s duties when that person is unavailable.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a basic understanding of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.

Compensation

The posted pay rate is USD 13.50 per hour.
