Role overview
AB InBev Africa is seeking a Logistics Technical Trainee to gain structured exposure across the logistics environment over a 12-month period. The program is designed to build practical knowledge in distribution, warehousing, and inventory while also involving participation in operational work and projects, with opportunities to interact with senior leaders.
This is a fast-moving technical development program built around 4-month rotation cycles. Progression from one rotation to the next is based on formal evaluations. The learning model follows a 70-20-10 approach: 70% from hands-on challenges and projects, 20% from developmental relationships, and 10% from coursework and training. After 8 months of continuous progress and successful completion of the program, candidates may apply for roles within the business.

Candidate profile
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Applicants should have no more than 3 years of full-time formal work experience.
- Geographic mobility is important, as relocation may be required during the 12-month program and later in the career.
- Strong English communication skills are essential.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- The ideal candidate is ambitious, inquisitive, bold, and resilient.
- A strong determination to deliver results is expected.
- A sense of ownership and a desire to create impact are important traits.
Reporting line
The role reports directly to the Regional Logistics Manager. There are no dotted-line reports.
