Logistics Executive

About the Role

Milele is an automotive business that works across import, export, and vehicle trading. The logistics team is central to how the company operates, and this position is for a detail-focused Logistics Executive who can manage shipment coordination, paperwork, and delivery processes independently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full logistics flow for vehicle imports, exports, and local deliveries.
• Monitor shipment timelines and quickly address delays at ports, storage yards, and delivery points.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, and transport providers to ensure smooth movement of goods.
• Prepare and manage logistics documents such as Bills of Lading, Certificates of Conformity, invoices, customs documents, and delivery records.
• Make sure all activities follow UAE import/export rules as well as requirements in destination countries.
• Keep both digital and physical shipment files organised and up to date.
• Work with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to align logistics work with business needs.
• Support vehicle handovers and customer delivery completion.
• Update ERP and CRM systems with shipment progress, logistics expenses, and operational updates.
• Coordinate quotations, planning, and performance reviews with logistics vendors.
• Help improve cost efficiency by ensuring vendors are accountable and coordination is effective.
• Create shipment trackers, delivery status reports, and operational summaries for management.
• Spot process bottlenecks and suggest improvements that shorten turnaround times.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, supply chain, or operations.
• Good understanding of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Practical experience using ERP systems and shipment tracking tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, dependable work style.

This role focuses on end-to-end logistics coordination in a fast-paced automotive environment. The candidate is expected to work closely with internal teams and external partners, manage records accurately, and stay on top of shipment follow-up without constant supervision.
