Role Overview
Orfevre Maison is looking for a skilled Leather Technician to work on high-end leather handbags and accessories in Dubai. This role focuses on restoring, repairing, and refining luxury items while protecting their original look, workmanship, and brand character.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine luxury leather handbags and accessories carefully, then carry out repairs that meet premium quality expectations.
- Handle restoration work such as cleaning, conditioning, refinishing, and targeted color correction.
- Fix or replace damaged parts including hardware, stitching, edges, handles, and other leather elements when needed.
- Preserve the original finish, structure, and craftsmanship of branded luxury goods during the repair process.
- Determine leather varieties and choose the most suitable repair and maintenance approach for each item.
- Complete quality inspections before items are returned to customers or added to the resale collection.
- Work with specialized leather tools and materials while following recognized best practices in the trade.
- Coordinate with the sourcing and sales teams to get luxury products ready for resale.
- Keep the workshop tidy, well-arranged, and safe at all times.
- Carry out every task with accuracy, strong attention to detail, and strict confidentiality.
