Overview

Northern News Services is hiring dependable, motivated kitchen team members for a sushi restaurant in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The role is suited to someone who can support a busy kitchen, follow food safety practices, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day food preparation tasks.
• Prepare sushi rolls as part of the kitchen workflow.
• Keep up with work in a busy, high-volume kitchen setting.
• Maintain a clean workspace and follow food safety and hygiene standards.

What we are looking for

• Prior kitchen experience is an asset, though it is not mandatory.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates.
• Strong organizational habits.
• A solid work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving restaurant environment.

Schedule and workplace

Flexible scheduling is available for both part-time and full-time work. The team environment is described as positive and collaborative.
