Role Overview
An established Asian investment firm is seeking a Junior Trader to support its trading desk in Singapore. This position is centered on assisting with execution, trade operations, and related reporting within a fast-moving investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily trading activity by helping with execution and the operational steps that follow.
- Work on pre-trade and post-trade tasks, including trade checks, reconciliation, and resolving exceptions with trading counterparties.
- Help maintain compliance with internal risk controls as well as applicable regulatory obligations.
- Prepare recurring updates on trading activity and portfolio results, and contribute to efforts that improve processes.
Requirements
- Between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience in trading, operations, or a closely related area.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
- Strong numerical reasoning and analytical ability, together with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; exposure to programming languages or data tools will be an added advantage.
