Junior Hardware Engineer

What you will do

• Develop detailed hardware schematics for electronic systems.
• Carry out circuit evaluation using LTSPICE and PSPICE.
• Build new electronic circuits using appropriate parts and equipment, including prototypes, test interfaces, and test instruments.
• Prepare design-review documentation such as block diagrams, schematics, design descriptions, and tolerance analysis for PDR and CDR reviews.
• Coordinate with software, hardware, systems, and mechanical colleagues to assess requirements and shape design concepts.

Required background

• A bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related equivalent is required.
• 1 year or less of electronics design experience is expected, ideally involving microcontrollers, microprocessors, memory devices, Ethernet, ADC, SPI, I2C, USB 2.0, RS232, RS422, A429, discrete components, and switching power regulators.
• Hands-on schematic entry experience in OrCAD is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with LTSPICE and PSPICE is preferred.
• Experience with root cause analysis and debugging would be an advantage.
• Exposure to embedded C is considered an asset.
• Any prior experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
