Junior Art Director

Role Overview

This contract position is for a Junior Art Director based in Dublin 4, County Dublin, Ireland. The role is focused on helping define and refine Penny’s visual direction, with a strong emphasis on social media content and brand presentation.

What the Role Involves

You will collaborate closely with the founder to build a distinctive and cohesive visual identity. The work will include developing social content, finding and selecting imagery, tracking design trends, and making sure every asset feels true to Penny’s brand.

Key Contributions

• Choose and organise imagery, typography, and visual references.
• Create social media posts and campaign creative.
• Build mood boards and conceptual design directions.
• Support the growth of Penny’s visual identity.
• Maintain a polished, consistent, and brand-aligned look across all customer-facing touchpoints.

Ideal Profile

The company is looking for someone currently studying or newly graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a similar field. The right person should have a strong sense of layout, type, and colour, and be comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma. A genuine interest in design, branding, and social media is important, along with curiosity, initiative, and enthusiasm for helping shape a brand from the early stages.
