About the role
Design Built Studio is seeking a motivated Junior Architect to become part of its expanding team in Coimbatore. This position is suited to someone who brings creativity, a strong design mindset, and an interest in architectural practice.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch). Strong command of both Tamil and English, in spoken and written form, is required. The opportunity is open to freshers as well as candidates with relevant prior experience.
Core skills and knowledge
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office is expected. Familiarity with Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar 3D modelling and rendering tools will be considered an advantage. A solid grasp of architectural planning, design development, and construction drawings is also important.
Professional abilities
The ideal candidate should communicate clearly, present ideas effectively, solve problems confidently, and manage tasks with attention to detail and good time discipline. The role also calls for the ability to function independently while contributing well in a team setting.
Important note
Only candidates with a B.Arch qualification will be shortlisted. Applicants from Civil Engineering or any other non-architecture background will not be considered.
