IT Technician

Role Overview

This position supports the company’s corporate IT environment by delivering core technical assistance and helping maintain reliable business systems. The role also involves contributing to the rollout and support of newer technologies and applications aligned with business requirements, including ERP and MES platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support services across the organisation.
• Work with the team on the deployment and support of new business applications and technology solutions, including ERP and MES systems.
• Track and maintain IT assets, along with software and service licences used on company systems.
• Oversee regular upkeep of IT infrastructure such as desktop computers, file and print servers, storage, backups, telecom systems, networking equipment, and security tools like door access and CCTV.
• Handle scheduled backup, disaster recovery, and restoration checks to confirm systems can be recovered properly when needed.
• Keep process documents and operational records current, complete, and properly maintained.
• Ensure standard operating procedures for system operations are followed consistently and remain effective.
• Independently identify, propose, and run improvement initiatives to enhance IT operations.
