What you will do
- Act as the first and second point of contact for hardware, software, and network-related support requests.
- Diagnose and resolve issues through phone, email, remote tools, or on-site help when needed.
- Set up, install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT devices.
- Support Microsoft Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and other business software.
- Handle user accounts, permissions, and access management tasks.
- Track IT assets, inventory, and software licenses to keep records accurate.
- Assist with connectivity issues involving Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and basic routing.
- Record, monitor, and update support cases in ticketing systems.
- Escalate advanced problems to senior IT staff or external vendors when required.

- Follow IT policies, security requirements, and data protection practices.
- Deliver responsive customer support and aim for timely issue resolution.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support, or technical support is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues, configure devices, and install software.
- Experience using ticketing platforms and remote support tools is an advantage.
- Some familiarity with cybersecurity basics and endpoint protection is beneficial.
- Good troubleshooting ability and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and stay effective in a fast-moving environment.
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are considered advantageous.
