Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal audit engagements based on the approved audit plan to verify control adequacy and policy compliance.
• Test internal controls to spot weaknesses, control gaps, and areas where processes can be improved.
• Review adherence to company policies and relevant regulatory requirements through compliance-focused audits.
• Detect operational and financial risk exposures and escalate key observations to management.
• Compile audit working papers and maintain clear supporting documentation for conclusions reached.
• Contribute to audit reports by summarizing observations, implications, and practical recommendations.
• Track management action plans and follow up on agreed recommendations until corrective steps are completed.

Experience and education

The role is intended for candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, or compliance-related functions. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required. Professional certification such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred, including candidates currently working toward one of these credentials.
