职位描述

About the role

This is a permanent, full-time HR Operations Manager opportunity based in Dublin within the HR function of a regulated financial services organisation. It is a newly established position created as the team expanded and the structure evolved, with the need for a dedicated operational layer between the Head of HR and the broader team. The role is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle, bringing greater structure, consistency, and control to how the function operates. The position reports to the Head of HR and has three direct reports.

About the business

The organisation has grown significantly in recent years, and the HR team has scaled alongside it. The function is well established and busy, supporting both local and group-level HR activity across a total headcount of around 100 employees.

Role overview

This position owns the operational delivery of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle. It leads a small team and carries responsibility for governance, controls, data accuracy, payroll oversight, and readiness for audit. The role works closely with the HR Business Partner and Head of HR, while complex or high-risk matters are escalated to those leaders. It is a hands-on operational role focused on execution of HR processes rather than strategic people leadership.

What’s on offer

  • Annual salary of €75,000
  • Pension contribution
  • Private healthcare
  • 24 days of annual leave
  • Hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week on site
  • Additional benefits aligned with a regulated financial services environment

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of HR operational processes across the full employee lifecycle and ensure delivery is accurate, timely, and consistent
  • Keep all HR procedures controlled, clearly documented, and ready for audit in line with internal governance and regulatory expectations
  • Lead and coordinate the HR Operations team, assigning work and overseeing both administrative and process-led tasks
  • Handle employee relations administration in line with company policy and employment law, escalating complex or high-risk cases to the HR Business Partner or Head of HR
  • Maintain accuracy of HR data across systems and reporting, resolving issues quickly and effectively
  • Oversee payroll input controls by reviewing and validating inputs and outputs and ensuring the correct sign-off process is followed
  • Support key HR cycles such as recruitment administration, performance and reward coordination, and employee engagement activity
  • Spot operational risks and issues early, document them clearly, and ensure follow-through
  • Improve processes, templates, and workflows on an ongoing basis to strengthen efficiency and consistency

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in HR operations or in a wide-ranging generalist HR role
  • Strong understanding of HR processes across the complete employee lifecycle
  • Practical knowledge of employment law and HR governance requirements
  • Experience leading or coordinating a team, including setting priorities, allocating work, and supporting colleagues
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, process-focused working style
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems and HR data management
  • Comfort with knowing when to escalate matters and clarity around role boundaries
  • A third-level qualification in HR, Business, or a related field
  • An improvement mindset, with the confidence to assess existing processes critically and take initiative to make them more efficient
  • This is an operational role, so candidates seeking a strategic HR Business Partner remit should note that the focus here is on process ownership, structure, and accuracy
  • Desirable: experience in a regulated environment
  • Desirable: previous exposure to financial services or another regulated, process-driven environment; professional services backgrounds will also be considered
  • Desirable: experience with payroll oversight or payroll input processes
  • Desirable: CIPD qualification or progress toward one

Additional information

This is a Dublin-based role with a hybrid pattern of 2 days on site. The role is permanent and sits within a regulated financial services setting. The company notes that it aims to review applications and provide an update within five working days. Applications sent via direct message will not be tracked or responded to as part of the process.

How to apply

Applicants are expected to submit their interest directly through the advertised application process so that their application is not missed.
