Head of EMBA Programmes (Fixed Term)

About the role

Cambridge Judge Business School is looking for a strong leader to step into the Head of EMBA Programmes position on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a significant opportunity to take a central role in shaping and supporting one of the UK’s most respected and ambitious Executive MBA offerings.

The Cambridge EMBA programmes are a flagship part of the School’s portfolio. They attract high-achieving professionals from a wide range of sectors and functions, with participants averaging 14 years of professional experience. With programme fees currently in the £110,000 to £125,000 range, these are premium courses that require consistently excellent delivery.

What the role involves

Reporting to the EMBA Executive Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of both programmes. This includes responsibility for the Virtual Learning Environment, management of course content and delivery, and providing informed support to academic colleagues.

You will also lead a capable team of Senior Programme Coordinators and work in close partnership with teams across Marketing, Admissions, and External Relations to deliver a first-class experience for students throughout their journey.

The role calls for a confident, collaborative manager with a strong background in programme leadership within demanding and complex settings. You should be comfortable working under pressure, highly organised, and able to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, faculty, and a discerning student cohort.

Contract and other information

This position is a fixed-term appointment for one year, or until the substantive post holder returns, whichever happens first.
