Key Duties

• Carry out small to medium maintenance and repair jobs for residential and commercial properties, with assignments typically lasting from two hours to two days
• Guide customers by explaining what work is needed and setting clear expectations on scope and cost
• Deliver a consistently strong customer experience that helps build repeat business
• Follow the company’s step-by-step service process on every job
• Work independently, often without direct supervision
• Communicate with customers, provide service updates, request reviews, and collect payments
• Use the required tools and technology to complete and document jobs
• Wear proper PPE and protective booties when working in customer homes

Minimum Qualifications

• Must live in the local service area
• At least 8 years of paid handyman experience
• Must own personal tools
• Must be insurable to drive the company vehicle
• Must pass background and driving record checks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on your own
• Must be able to work at heights and overhead for long periods safely
• Professional appearance and proper upkeep of the company vehicle are required
• Strong capability in at least three of the following areas: carpentry, bathroom remodeling, kitchen updates, interior and exterior painting, drywall repairs, general plumbing and electrical work where permitted by law, floor installation and refinishing, and familiarity with building codes
