Role Overview

Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is looking for a Handfinisher to join its aerospace operations in Joo Koon, Singapore. This position is part of a performance-driven culture where you will work alongside experienced professionals, keep building your capabilities, and contribute to high-impact aerospace manufacturing work.

What You Will Do

Carry out deburring, polishing, blending, and hand-finishing work on aerospace parts before and after machining, following Manufacturing Operations & Tooling requirements, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Read and apply basic technical manuals, drawings, and process guidelines to make sure the work matches specifications and quality expectations.
Ensure finished components satisfy the required dimensional, visual, and quality standards set out in technical documents and process controls.
Support and operate finishing-related equipment and processes such as sand blasting, lapping, drilling, tumbling, cleaning systems including vapor degreasing, and other tools used in the finishing workflow.
Use manual tools and finishing equipment safely and correctly, including handheld grinders, polishing tools, engraving pens, and precision finishing instruments.
Inspect parts visually and perform basic measurements to confirm they meet customer and aerospace quality requirements.
Keep the work area orderly and follow 5S, TPM, safety, and quality practices at all times.
Contribute to Kaizen, productivity improvement, and waste-reduction efforts.
Complete production records accurately and follow operational procedures consistently.
Work closely with machinists, quality inspectors, manufacturing engineers, and supervisors to resolve workmanship or quality issues.

Requirements

Minimum qualification of N-Level, O-Level, SPM, or an equivalent credential.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in polishing, deburring, blending, or hand-finishing work, preferably in aerospace or precision engineering.
Experience in a mechanical trade or manufacturing setting will be an advantage.
Comfortable using hand tools and polishing equipment.
Able to understand and follow basic technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions.
Basic computer literacy; SAP knowledge will be a plus.
Familiarity with 5S, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma principles is preferred.
Strong eye for detail and commitment to high workmanship standards.
Good teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsible, disciplined, and able to perform well in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Willing to work overtime and support a permanent morning shift from 7:00 AM to 4:18 PM when needed.
