Role overview
As a Graduate Data Engineer, you will join a growing team that builds and delivers ETL solutions for real-world clients. The position offers practical experience with modern cloud-based data platforms, direct interaction with stakeholders, and exposure to current tools and technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AI.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement ETL pipelines using cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Write SQL queries and create data solutions in Snowflake or Databricks.
- Work with client stakeholders to clarify and interpret business needs.
- Build knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modelling, OLAP, and star schemas.
- Investigate how AI and large language models can be used within data projects.
- Contribute to business intelligence and analytics delivery.
- Operate as part of a supportive, team-oriented environment with guidance from experienced mentors.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong foundations in SQL.
- Some exposure to Python or a similar programming language.
- Genuine interest in ETL, data engineering, or data warehousing.
- Comfort with learning Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP quickly.
- A curious, motivated mindset with a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team.
- Common-sense approach and commercially aware thinking.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, client-facing environment.
- Willingness to work onsite three days per week in Dublin.
- Nice-to-have: internship or consulting experience.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Nice-to-have: personal projects involving data pipelines or analytics.
- Nice-to-have: exposure to AI or machine learning concepts.

Work arrangement
This is a full-time onsite position based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. The role requires a presence onsite for three days each week.
