Key duties

  • Keep all departmental work aligned with Barrick’s Zero Harm approach and the site’s safety requirements.
  • Deliver full administrative support to the Mineral Resources Management team, including meeting coordination, contractor data checks, and maintenance of accurate records and files.
  • Arrange travel, lodging, visas, and work permits for the MRM team while following company rules and Saudi labour regulations.
  • Handle everyday administrative tasks such as site access requests, accommodation reservations, timesheets, and report preparation, with proper filing and archiving of documents.
  • Support purchase order creation and follow-up, monitor invoices, and help ensure suppliers are paid on time in coordination with Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Assist with budget tracking and scheduling for geology and mining-related projects.
  • Maintain sufficient stocks of PPE, field consumables, and office supplies for the geology team.
  • Enter and manage data in SAP, produce reports, and help analyse information to support decision-making in the MRM department.
  • Act as a main contact for internal teams and external parties, and help coordinate minor projects across geology, operations, and support functions.

Qualifications and experience

A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a similar discipline is preferred. At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or office support position is required. Experience in mining or industrial environments is considered a strong advantage.
