Role overview
An ambitious Irish-owned business with annual turnover of more than €30 million is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of its finance function. This position is well suited to someone who has worked in an SME setting and is ready to lead a small team while strengthening financial operations.

Key responsibilities
- Run the day-to-day finance operations and supervise a small finance team
- Deliver monthly management accounts, financial statements, and account reconciliations
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and forward forecasting
- Build budgets, forecasts, and expenditure analysis reports
- Prepare audit documentation at year-end and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain effective working relationships with outside stakeholders
- Contribute to finance process enhancements and systems development
Candidate profile
- Professionally qualified through ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA
- Proven background delivering process improvements
- Previous experience in an SME environment is essential
