Financial Analyst

Role overview

This is a full-time remote finance role supporting a client’s research and analysis needs. The position focuses on in-depth financial research to guide investment choices and broader strategic initiatives. You will work closely with teams across functions to build models and frameworks that improve financial decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Create and apply quantitative models to study financial markets, trends, and investment opportunities.
• Carry out detailed research on financial products, economic indicators, and developments within specific sectors.
• Build and improve automated approaches for financial analysis and decision support.
• Partner with data science and engineering teams to turn research findings into scalable solutions.
• Share findings and recommendations with stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Required skills and qualifications

• Working knowledge of Python, R, or similar languages used for financial analysis and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with financial data such as market information, financial statements, and economic indicators.
• Strong grounding in quantitative finance, econometrics, or a closely related discipline.
• Ability to build, test, and improve financial models and algorithms.
• Comfort working with large datasets and turning them into practical insights.

Location: Remote, with work possible from anywhere.

Employment type: Full-time.

Compensation: $350K to $500K per year.
