Role overview

This fixed-term finance operations position focuses on reconciling insurer statements each month, clearing account-related issues, supporting strong insurer partnerships, and helping streamline financial operations.

The job is based in either Sandyford, Dublin 18 or Marine Point, Waterford, with a hybrid working setup. The role reports to the Finance Operations Team Leader.

Internal stakeholders include the FinOps team and managers, the wider Finance function, and Regional Business Managers. Externally, the main contacts are insurers.

Core responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly settlement process for insurer statements.
  • Work with insurers to investigate and settle account queries.
  • Ensure insurer payments and account-related issues are cleared by month end.
  • Complete performance reviews and Dayforce learning tasks on time.
  • Take part in role-based training activities.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and contribute positively.
  • Help maintain a strong and supportive team environment.

Customer relationship management

  • Promote a service-led approach and help position the team as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders.
  • Strengthen relationships across the business by building trust, anticipating needs, sharing information, and supporting the goal of keeping account queries under six months old.

Customer service

  • Review all variances carefully and resolve them promptly or escalate them appropriately.
  • Stay proactive when issues arise and work constructively with colleagues.

Compliance and audit support

  • Assist with internal and external audits by supplying reconciliation records and supporting documentation when needed.
