Role Overview
This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar. The role sits within Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with a broad portfolio of more than 530 properties across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America, under brands such as Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, and Tivoli.
As a food and beverage service associate, you will be the face of guest interaction and a key part of the overall hospitality experience. The role calls for fast, courteous service and a strong focus on making every guest feel well cared for in the hotel’s dining and beverage venues.
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with colleagues across departments to keep food and beverage operations running smoothly and efficiently. Success in this role depends on teamwork, product knowledge, and consistent attention to guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Deliver prompt, polite, and attentive service to guests at all times.
- Support smooth day-to-day operations across food and beverage outlets.
- Maintain strong working relationships with team members in all relevant departments.
- Build and retain detailed knowledge of menus, drinks, hotel services, and facilities.
- Continue improving your professional hospitality skills to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment.
- Respect and protect guest privacy at all times.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should already have experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations, and should genuinely enjoy delivering excellent service. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for this role.
