Engineer - Planning - Site (Client Billing and Quantity Surveyor)

Role overview

This position focuses on site planning support, client billing, and quantity survey coordination. The engineer will prepare and validate client invoices against contractual milestones and actual site progress, while also handling quantity checks, reconciliations, and documentation that align with project planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and milestone-based running account bills for client submission using verified site progress, bills of quantities, and contract terms.
• Work closely with execution teams on site to gather daily progress details, verify physical measurements, and keep measurement records up to date.
• Examine billing-related contract clauses, milestone definitions, and item-rate arrangements to ensure bills are accurate and submitted on time.
• Support the creation and revision of the project billing plan so it stays aligned with construction schedules, milestone targets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Cross-check quantities between client-approved GFC drawings, BOQs, and actual site execution to prevent overbilling or missed billing.
