Role overview
Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking an Electrical Inspector in Doha, Qatar for a full-time, on-site position. The role focuses on quality inspection across electrical equipment manufacturing and final acceptance activities, with an emphasis on vendor inspection, assembly checks, FAT, and final inspection.
Core activity
The main work scope covers assembly inspection, factory acceptance testing, and final inspection for integrated control system-related electrical equipment.
What the role requires
- An electrical engineering degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in quality inspection, including vendor inspection, is required.
- Strong familiarity with industry standards and codes such as IEC62271, IEC61850, GOOSE, IEC61869, IEC60044, IEEE 1584, EN10204, and ISO9001:2015 is expected.
- Hands-on knowledge of the construction, installation, and operation of 33KV GIS Ring Main Units, HV/LV switchboards, lighting panels and accessories, PLC systems, integration FAT, and integrated control systems is needed.
- Basic understanding of mechanical aspects, painting, and lifting requirements is necessary.
- The candidate should be able to read and interpret engineering documents including GADs, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
- The relevant material/system mentioned for the assignment is Integrated Control System (ELICS).
