Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai for a dress pattern cutter. The role centers on turning design concepts into precise patterns, modifying and scaling patterns across size ranges, and planning pattern layouts to make the best possible use of fabric. You will work in close coordination with designers and tailors to make sure the final fit, silhouette, and construction align with design intent and quality standards.

Key Qualifications

• Proven capability in dress pattern cutting, including drafting new patterns, adjusting existing ones, and grading patterns for multiple sizes and style variations.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, fabric characteristics, and fitting principles, with the ability to provide technical input on design decisions.
• Hands-on experience with pattern-making tools, whether traditional or digital, along with measuring instruments and cutting tools in a production setting.
• High precision and a strong eye for detail when measuring, laying out patterns, and cutting materials to reduce mistakes and avoid unnecessary fabric loss.
