The work is varied and patient-facing, with a focus on safety, service, and everyday impact.

This is an in-store role in the UK only. Remote applications will not be considered. Applications from outside the UK will not move forward unless valid UK qualifications and right to work can be confirmed and evidenced.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and dispense prescriptions while maintaining safe medicines supply, including ordering, labelling, endorsing, and handing out prescriptions.
  • Work alongside pharmacy and healthcare colleagues to help deliver pharmacy services across the store.
  • Offer patients guidance on medicines and pass more complex questions to the pharmacist when needed.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to support accurate, legal, and safe prescription dispensing.
  • Stay current with new in-store innovations and follow operational processes.
  • Help patients manage repeat prescriptions and use their medicines effectively to improve adherence and reduce waste.
  • Adapt to evolving store technologies and new systems that improve patient safety and create more time for patient support.
  • Take part in regular training and development opportunities, including routes into Pharmacy Technician training or store leadership.

Requirements

  • Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification at NVQ2 level, or currently working toward it after completing the first year of an MPharm degree.
  • Current UK right to work is essential.
  • This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
  • Experience in a community pharmacy setting would be an advantage.

  • Generous colleague discount
  • Enhanced pay for maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, plus a gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child
  • Flexible benefits scheme
  • Free 24/7 counselling and support through TELUS Health Employee Assistance Programme
