Director, Innovation Programs APAC, Google Cloud

About the Role

Google Cloud helps organizations modernize operations and accelerate digital change with enterprise-ready technology. In this APAC leadership role on the Consulting team, you will shape and run innovation programs that help customers improve competitiveness, unlock efficiencies, and launch new products, capabilities, and ways of working.

You will create a clear innovation vision and turn it into practical execution plans by running assessments, leading ideation sessions, organizing delivery roadmaps, and coordinating innovation initiatives end to end. The role involves partnering closely with Google Cloud customers, partners, and internal teams to identify high-value transformation opportunities and convert them into measurable business outcomes.

As a senior innovation leader, you will also champion best practices, build thought leadership, and steer initiatives that connect technology investments with broader business strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of hands-on practical experience.
• At least 15 years of experience across technology innovation, product leadership, management consulting, or advisory work focused on business transformation and technology strategy.
• Proven experience leading cloud adoption or cloud-driven innovation programs for enterprise clients.
• Background in people leadership, team mentoring, and managing technical teams.
• Experience overseeing products or technologies in areas such as cloud infrastructure, SaaS, enterprise software, AI/ML, or large-scale data.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, a master’s degree in Computer Science, or comparable experience in business strategy.
• Leadership experience in innovation consulting, venture-building, startup environments, or an internal innovation group.
• Exposure to functions such as product strategy, engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance, marketing, or vendor management.
• Ability to manage large, cross-functional, and uncertain programs while producing highly innovative results.
