Role overview

Frederic Schad is looking for an experienced Custom Clerk to support import and export clearance activities in Kingston, Jamaica. Candidates will be considered only if they already have relevant experience.

Key functions

  • Check tariff codes against the customs records to ensure the classification is correct.

  • Identify and report process gaps or non-conformities so improvements can be made in the role area.

  • Apply solid knowledge of customs laws, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

  • Basic understanding of AFR and OFR operations, including handling, documentation, and customs clearance.
